The Pokémon Company has released a full overview trailer for Pokémon Pokopia's Expansion Pass Part 1, alongside a first look at the upcoming Part 2 content. The reveal follows the game's earlier confirmation of the DLC's release date, and gives players their clearest picture yet of what the paid expansion will add to the Switch 2 title, ahead of its launch on 5th August.

Part 1 introduces a new area called Bubbly Basin, featuring new Pokémon such as Popplio, Totodile and Mudkip, along with floating underwater building blocks, air-dependent underwater farming mechanics, and exclusive items and furniture. A free software update launching the same day adds Ditto's new Dive ability for underwater building, though this is the extent of the free content. Part 2, due later in 2026, won't add a new town but will introduce clothing accessories for Pokémon, including newcomer Snubbull, with further details on Parts 2 and 3 promised in the coming months.
