Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer for its remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, starring Michael B. Jordan as a billionaire art thief who steals for the thrill rather than the money. Jordan, who also directs and produces the film, faces off against an insurance investigator played by Adria Arjona in a cat-and-mouse plot that develops into a romance. The project has been in development for more than a decade, and its stylish, Bond-esque trailer—featuring fast cars, glamorous settings and a bungee-jumping heist sequence—suggests the long wait has paid off.
The film is due in cinemas on 5 March 2027 and will be Jordan's second directing credit after 2023's Creed III.
