Actor and musician Jared Leto has denied new allegations of sexual misconduct made by four women who say encounters with him occurred when they were teenagers, calling the claims "absolutely and categorically false." The accusations, detailed in a BBC report published on 29 July summarising its documentary "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret," add to a growing list of claims against the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman and matter because they allege conduct including statutory rape and threats of assault involving minors, which he strongly disputes.

The four women allege separate incidents: one says Leto sexually assaulted her in a motel bathroom aged 17; another claims he threatened to sexually assault her in a hotel room when she was 19; a third alleges he had sex with her at 17, which would constitute statutory rape under California law; and a fourth claims he made repeated lewd phone calls to her at 16 and later had her sent a non-disclosure agreement, which she refused to sign. The BBC documentary features ten women in total, alleging experiences between 2002 and 2016, and the broadcaster says it has tallied more than 120 separate allegations of inappropriate or predatory behaviour against Leto, following a similar 2025 Air Mail report involving nine women that his representatives also denied.
