Amanda Ip, Jay Baruchel, Ciara Bravo and Kevin Durand to Star Opposite Alan Ritchson in ‘Reacher’
Amazon Prime Video has confirmed four new cast members for the fifth season of "Reacher": Amanda Ip, Jay Baruchel, Ciara Bravo and Kevin Durand will join Alan Ritchson in his role as the drifting former military policeman. The announcement comes less than two weeks before the season four premiere, with the new season adapting Lee Child's novel "Make Me" and continuing showrunner Nick Santora's adaptation of the book series for Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios.
The fifth season follows Reacher after his train stops in the town of Mother's Rest, where he partners with a private investigator to search for a missing person before uncovering a deadly criminal conspiracy. Ip will play Michelle Chang, Baruchel takes on Chief Buck Bauer, Bravo plays Eunice, and Durand plays Nokes; all four are established screen actors with credits spanning film and television, including Baruchel's work in "This Is the End" and as the voice of Hiccup in "How to Train Your Dragon", and Durand's roles in "3:10 to Yuma" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".
