Electronic artist Locust, the project of Mark Van Hoen, has announced a new album, *Spectral+*, featuring guest contributions including Slowdive’s Neil Halstead. The announcement is accompanied by three songs and forthcoming performances in New York and Los Angeles, marking a new release cycle for the long-running project.

*Spectral+* is due on 11 September 2026 and contains 10 tracks. Halstead appears with Natasha Morrow on “Long Distance Lover”, while other collaborators include Olive Kimoto, Griff Spex, Nick Holton, Natalie Foucauld and Omotola.
