The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Switch 2 Rating Surfaces Online

Nintendo Life · 3 hours ago

Nintendo has released a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 this year, and an age rating for the game has now appeared online ahead of any official confirmation. The rating gives an early indication of the content players can expect and adds another small detail to the growing picture of the upcoming remake, which has generated significant fan excitement since its announcement.

The rating, listed on Nintendo's official US store page, comes from the ESRB as 'Everyone 10+', with the listing citing "animated blood" and "fantasy violence". It has not yet appeared on the ESRB's own website, though the 3DS remake Ocarina of Time 3D received the same rating along with a reference to "suggestive themes"; the original 1998 N64 version was simply rated 'E', as the E10+ category did not exist until 2005. The same Nintendo store page has previously teased "stunning visuals, updated designs, and timeless gameplay" for the new release.

  • Ocarina of Time Switch 2 remake rated 'Everyone 10+' by ESRB online
  • Listing cites "animated blood" and "fantasy violence"
  • Rating matches the 2011 3DS remake, not yet confirmed on ESRB's site
