Singer-songwriter Linda Perhacs, best known for her cult-classic 1970 album Parallelograms, has been safely found after being reported missing by concerned members of the music community this week. The artist had been discharged from a residential care facility eight months prior but contact with her and her legal guardian had ceased, prompting friends and collaborators to file police reports seeking confirmation of her welfare.

Perhacs is now residing in a new care facility, according to a statement from her former manager Laurel Stearns, who publicly thanked law enforcement and supporters for their efforts in locating her. Stearns requested that privacy be afforded to Perhacs and those closest to her as they determine the appropriate path forward, whilst emphasising the lasting influence of the artist's work on musicians and fans worldwide.
