Former Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday winger Mallik Wilks has joined Turkish second-tier club Pendikspor after leaving Wednesday. The move gives the 26-year-old a fresh opportunity overseas following a difficult spell at Hillsborough.

Wilks signed for Wednesday from Hull in August 2022 and made 31 league appearances, scoring once. He spent the 2024–25 season on loan at Rotherham United, where he registered nine goals and four assists, before Wednesday released him at the end of his contract; Pendikspor announced his signing on 9 July 2025.
