Dili raises $21.7 million to bring AI compliance to the infrastructure boom

TechCrunch · 3 hours ago

Dili, an AI compliance startup focused on US infrastructure projects, has raised a $15 million Series A funding round, bringing its total funding to $21.7 million. The company aims to help developers and contractors navigate complex construction, labour, environmental and clean-energy rules as investment in data centres, power and other infrastructure grows.

The round was led by Khosla Ventures and follows a $6.7 million seed round; other investors include Allianz, Rebel Fund, Darren Bechtel and Y Combinator’s Garry Tan. Dili uses AI to turn unstructured business documents into structured data, then applies deterministic rule-based checks to avoid AI errors in final compliance decisions; it says it is used on about 700 projects and can reduce day-long compliance tasks to minutes.
