Netflix and AMC Global Media have confirmed a multi-year global licensing deal for the full *The Walking Dead* television universe, expanding Netflix’s access to the franchise beyond its previous US availability. The agreement is significant because it gives viewers in several additional markets access to the original series and eventually its spin-offs, while AMC+ will also add the flagship show for the first time.

The deal covers all 371 episodes: the original series’ 11 seasons and six spin-offs. Netflix will make the original series available in the UK, Italy, Australia and New Zealand, while spin-offs including *Fear the Walking Dead*, *Daryl Dixon*, *Dead City* and *The Ones Who Live* are due to begin rolling out globally in 2027, with timings varying as existing rights deals end; AMC+ will receive the original series in early 2027.

  • Netflix expands *The Walking Dead* internationally under a new AMC deal.
  • All 371 franchise episodes are included.
  • Spin-offs begin global Netflix rollout from 2027.
