Littler’s nan shocked by seeing mural from bus
A mural celebrating Luke Littler, the two-time world darts champion, has been unveiled in his hometown of Warrington. Littler’s grandmother unexpectedly saw it being prepared while travelling by bus, got off to speak with the artists and alerted the family, adding a personal moment to the public tribute.
The mural is displayed on the side of Golden Square Shopping Centre and features Littler with the slogan ‘Born to Win’. Its unveiling followed his victory in the 2026 World Matchplay, his 11th PDC major title; Littler also said he hopes Michael van Gerwen, now seventh in the rankings, returns to form to strengthen competition.
