Nintendo’s latest North American eShop update is led by Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, alongside a broad selection of new Switch 2 releases. The update matters chiefly for Switch 2 owners, as it adds an enhanced version of a major Nintendo role-playing game and expands the console’s early software catalogue.

– Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches on 30 July for $69.99, with 4K TV output, 60fps, smoother cutscenes, a new Rare Blade and Merc Assault mode.
– Existing Switch owners can buy an upgrade pack for Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
– Arcade Archives 2 adds 1997 racer ARMADILLO RACING ($16.99) and 1983 action game MOUSER ($9.99), both released on 23 July.
