Xiaomi’s SkyNomad N90 Max is an extended-range EV with a transforming interior

Xiaomi has unveiled the SkyNomad N90 Max, its first extended-range electric SUV, with a claimed driving range of more than 1,705km. The vehicle is notable for an adaptable, lounge-like cabin designed to support travel, family use and camping, signalling Xiaomi’s effort to differentiate its electric vehicles through interior flexibility as well as range.

The N90 Max will be offered with five or seven seats, alongside a Camping Edition with a pop-up roof, rooftop bed platform, tent attachment and detachable table. Its front seats can rotate 180 degrees, while the rear seats include footrests; selected versions may also have a fridge and overhead speakers. Xiaomi also announced the smaller five-seat SkyNomad N70 and N70 Max, which use the same extended-range technology platform.
