Sesame Street Recruits Post Malone For Storm Special, Releases Chappell Roan Potty Parody
Sesame Street has recruited Post Malone and comedian Michelle Buteau for Storm On Sesame Street, a special about preparing for and recovering from a major storm. Premiering on Netflix and PBS Kids on 3 August, it matters as part of the programme’s continuing use of popular musicians to present practical messages for children.
In a preview, Post Malone performs “A Little Help”, a song encouraging neighbours to work together during the clean-up. Sesame Workshop has also released Parody Party, an album adapting recent and older pop songs; its Chappell Roan parody, “Got To Go”, uses “Hot To Go” to encourage children to use the toilet when needed.
