Cardi B has responded to online speculation about her appearance following recent weight loss, saying she does not need further reduction surgery because she has already had procedures to reduce her buttocks. She said she is comfortable with her body and urged critics to “stop hating”, while explaining that another operation would require significant recovery time.

She said her most recent reduction surgery was in January 2024, after having most polymers injected in 2018 removed in August 2022. Cardi B had previously suggested she might travel to Colombia for implant removal after her tour, but later said she had changed her mind; her February-to-April North American tour grossed over $70 million from 453,000 ticket sales.
