Additional slots are unlocked by upgrading the Gyldenblod Pool, which is otherwise mainly linked to Gyldjar capacity. From level 3 onwards, it adds one more slot per level, reaching a maximum of 10 character slots at level 9; these upgrades require time and further in-game requirements.
