Greta Van Fleet have announced their new album, ‘Palace For The People’, due for release on 9 October, alongside the new ballad ‘Saw You Stand’. The announcement marks the beginning of a new phase for the Grammy-winning rock band, which says the record combines its rock foundations with a more contemporary sound and explores connection, resilience and transcendence.

The album was recorded in Tennessee in spring 2026 and co-produced by the band with Mike Elizondo. Its title was inspired by London’s Alexandra Palace, originally conceived as a public gathering place; the band links that idea to the friendships formed through its music. Greta Van Fleet are also due to play a sold-out show at Chicago’s Metro on 31 July.
