Greta Van Fleet have announced their new album, Palace for the People, due for release on 9 October, and shared its latest single, “Saw You Stand”. The announcement signals new material from the band following a period away from touring, with singer Josh Kiszka saying the group have grown closer and have more to express.

“Saw You Stand” follows May’s “Play Your Games” and begins as a restrained piano ballad before shifting into a heavier arrangement led by Kiszka’s falsetto. Palace for the People was co-produced by the band with Mike Elizondo, while bassist Sam Kiszka described the album’s title as reflecting the community listeners have built around the group’s music.
