Sheff Wed sign Burstow and Maynard-Brewer
Sheffield Wednesday have strengthened their squad by signing goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer and bringing in striker Mason Burstow on loan from Hull City. The moves add competition in goal and attacking options as the club prepares for the new season.
Maynard-Brewer, 27, has agreed a one-year deal after leaving Dundee United as a free agent, having previously made 70 league appearances for Charlton. Burstow, 22, joins for the season after scoring 12 goals in 53 League One matches while on loan at Bolton last term, helping them secure promotion to the Championship; he is Wednesday’s latest summer addition alongside goalkeeper Connal Trueman.
