Ariana Grande has released a seven-minute video for “Petal”, the title track of her new album, directed by Christian Breslauer. The short film portrays Grande as an aspiring actress whose failed auditions turn violent after a producer calls her performance inauthentic, giving the visual a horror-film tone.

Grande co-wrote and executive produced Petal with Ilya, her collaborator on 2014’s “Problem”, and described the album as finding life amid difficult circumstances. She is also undertaking her first tour in nearly seven years, supporting Positions, Eternal Sunshine and potentially Petal, before ending with a multi-night London residency.
