The Witcher franchise is set to return with The Witcher: Legacy, a story-driven board game due in summer 2027. Its release extends the series beyond television and video games, offering fans a new campaign-based adaptation while they await future major releases.

According to GameFound, Legacy will include a campaign lasting more than 50 hours and replayable endgame scenarios. An expansion for the existing board game The Witcher: Old World will add over 20 creatures from Legacy, while pre-orders for the new game are expected to offer 15 expansions, covering areas and themes including Skellige, mages and monster trails.
