Finucane secured her second gold in two nights by defeating England’s Sophie Capewell in the sprint final, after setting a Games record of 10.322 seconds in qualifying and overcoming Olympic champion Ellesse Andrews. Morris beat Josie Knight to win the 4,000m individual pursuit, though she was later demoted from second to fifth in the scratch race; Rhian Edmunds added sprint bronze, while Finucane remains entered in the time trial and keirin.
