Karol G has announced that her sixth studio album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, will be released on 7 August. She says the record will reveal a more intimate, alternative and emotionally vulnerable side of herself, marking a shift from the bright, celebratory Tropicoqueta era and inviting listeners to embrace intense feelings rather than suppress them.

The Colombian singer unveiled the album on 29 July and premiered its first single, “Matadora”, during the opening night of her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour in Chicago on 24 July. Its baby-blue artwork and serious styling have prompted speculation about a rebrand; her previous album, Tropicoqueta, released in June 2025, reached number one on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and number three on the Billboard 200.
