Ditcheva outclasses Kielholtz on return from injury
Dakota Ditcheva returned from a year-long injury absence with a clear unanimous-decision victory over Denise Kielholtz at PFL New York, extending her unbeaten professional MMA record to 16 fights. The result reaffirmed the British flyweight’s standing as one of the PFL’s leading fighters, particularly as the promotion has merged with Most Valuable Promotions.
Ditcheva, 28, outstruck the Dutch veteran 102-64 and completed six takedowns, using her height, jab and body attacks to control much of the contest. She had been sidelined by hand injuries and did not secure her usual knockout, but overcame Kielholtz, 37, who entered on a three-fight winning run; in the main event, Usman Nurmagomedov stopped Archie Colgan in the first round to retain the lightweight title.
- Ditcheva won unanimously in her first fight for over a year.
- The Briton remains unbeaten after 16 professional MMA bouts.
- Nurmagomedov retained his lightweight title with a first-round knockout.
