Sombr invited 5 Seconds of Summer onstage during his Lollapalooza set in Chicago, where they performed together in a surprise collaboration. The appearance brought the Australian band’s breakout hit to a major festival audience and reflects Sombr’s growing profile following a series of recent releases and high-profile live guests.

The US pop artist introduced Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin as “the greatest band in the fucking world”. They first provided backing for Sombr’s ‘Back to Friends’, before he joined them for ‘She Looks So Perfect’; Sombr also played recent singles including ‘My Body Isn’t Ready’, ‘Homewrecker’ and ‘Potential’. He is due to tour North America and play Reading & Leeds, Sziget, Rock En Seine and Electric Picnic later this summer.
