In the US, retailers including Best Buy and Staples accept cables through in-store schemes, while both also offer paid mail-in recycling boxes for larger quantities. Local electronics recycling depots, waste facilities and some manufacturers may provide alternatives; however, working cables can be donated or retained as spares for older devices, travel kits or emergency supplies.
