Google's Find Hub is a free tracking network that allows Android users to locate missing phones, tablets and accessories through a web browser or another device, much like Apple's equivalent service. Unlike Apple's offering, you don't need another Android device to access it, making it an essential first step if your Android phone goes missing.

Setting up Find Hub requires ensuring your phone is running the latest software, you're logged into an accessible Google account, and that location services and device location permissions are enabled in your security settings. When your phone is lost, you can access Find Hub to view its last known location (within 10 metres for turn-by-turn directions), remotely trigger it to play a sound, mark it as lost to lock it, or as a final resort, perform a factory reset to protect your data.
