Staff described the future Prince Philip as showing early signs of leadership potential, but also noted a tendency towards impatience in the classroom, offering a rare glimpse into his character as a teenager.

The report reportedly praised Philip as a "born leader" and commended him for "unusual courage and endurance", qualities that would later define his decades of public and military service. However, teachers also flagged him as "too irritable" at times, suggesting a more complex and human portrait of the young prince than his later, more composed public image would suggest.
