Sebastian Bach, former Skid Row frontman, has said he is beginning to prepare a follow-up to his 2024 solo album "Child Within The Man". In a new interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, he described taking the "first step" by creating a shared Dropbox folder for his band to collect musical ideas, signalling early-stage work rather than a confirmed release timeline.

Bach said the folder, named "New Ideas 2026", will be shared with guitarist Brody DeRozie, bassist Fede Delfino and drummer Paris Bach (his son), and that he intends to work again with songwriter Devin Bronson while hoping to bring back Myles Kennedy, who co-wrote two tracks on the previous record. He cautioned fans not to expect the album soon, noting that "Child Within The Man" benefited from uninterrupted studio time during the pandemic, a circumstance unlikely to repeat. He also reiterated his commitment to performing new material live alongside older hits, and separately mentioned a long-standing wish to eventually record a traditional, piano-led Christmas album.
