The Creative Spark Evolution is now live in FC 26, offering all-round upgrades to a chosen card in the game's Ultimate Team mode. Players unlock it by completing a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) of the same name, which requires roughly 100,000 coins' worth of fodder, making it a significant investment aimed at those wanting to boost a specific attacking midfielder or winger.

Eligible cards must be RM or RW, rated no higher than 94 overall, with a maximum of 10 PlayStyles and 3 PlayStyle+, excluding World Tour Silver Stars items. The evolution has five upgrade tiers, each requiring one match played in Squad Battles (minimum Semi-Pro) or in Rush, Rivals, Champions or Live Events, with the completed item ultimately reaching 97 overall and gains across passing, vision, dribbling and physical attributes. Suggested players for the evolution include Odegaard, Xhaka, Putellas, Brahim, Zizo, Lucas Paqueta, Lee Kang In, James Rodriguez, Bouaddi, Cherki, Almiron and Bellingham.
