David Byrne invited Anna Calvi on stage during two dates on his ongoing UK tour, bringing back their shared interpretation of 'Strange Weather,' a cover originally recorded together in 2014. The former Talking Heads frontman called Calvi onto the stage at both the Halifax and Cardiff outdoor shows, where she had been performing as his opening act, to revive the Keren Ann composition that appeared on Calvi's covers project.

Byrne is supporting his 2025 solo album 'Who Is The Sky?,' which featured collaborations with artists including Hayley Williams and St. Vincent, whilst also preparing a separate intimate book tour across UK cities later in the year. Calvi has likewise maintained an active schedule with her own EP release in early 2026 and participation in a charity album that earned recognition at a major music awards ceremony.
