Megadeth have announced a run of 2027 European tour dates, including their first UK headline shows since 2015. The dates form part of the Grammy-winning thrash metal band's ongoing farewell tour, which began earlier this year with North and Latin American shows, and mark a significant return to UK stages for a band regarded as one of the genre's most influential and best-selling acts.

Support on the tour will come from Black Label Society and fellow thrash veterans Testament. UK tickets go on Live Nation pre-sale at 9am local time on Thursday 6 August, with general sale following at 10am on Friday 7 August. Megadeth were formed by singer-guitarist Dave Mustaine in 1983 following his departure from Metallica, and have since sold more than 50 million albums worldwide.
