Now It's Overhead, the Athens, Georgia indie rock project led by Andy LeMaster, has announced its first new music and live show in around 20 years. LeMaster, a longtime Bright Eyes collaborator, made the band the first out-of-town act signed to Omaha's Saddle Creek label, and its return marks a notable reunion for a group that helped define the label's early-2000s golden era alongside acts such as Bright Eyes, the Faint and Rilo Kiley.

The band will release vinyl reissues of its three albums plus a new five-song digital EP, "In The Beginning," on 18 September via Saddle Creek, featuring the band's first new songs since 2006. One track, "eleven-seven-thirty-five," dates back to 2001 and was rediscovered on old tape reels, while "sigh let go" was written specifically for the EP. Now It's Overhead will play its first live show since 2007 on 10 October at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, supported by Lona.
