Kylie Minogue made surprise guest appearances at consecutive concerts by Madonna and Nick Cave, bringing together two very different strands of her long musical career. The performances were notable because they reunited Minogue with Cave for their celebrated duet and marked another live collaboration with Madonna, although neither appearance announced a new joint release.

At Madonna’s WorldPride show in Amsterdam, Minogue joined her for “Love Sensation” and remained on stage for the closing songs. The following day, she appeared during Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ Brighton concert to perform “Where the Wild Roses Grow”, their 1996 duet from Cave’s album *Murder Ballads*.
