Reviewers have singled out its inventive puzzles, emphasis on communication and genuinely cooperative design, with Eurogamer awarding it a perfect 5/5, GameSpot giving 9/10 and Nintendo Life scoring it 8/10, though the latter noted some technical issues on Switch 2. The Verge and Polygon also praised the game highly without assigning a score, comparing its sense of discovery to titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
