FC 26's "Let Me Cook" Evolution is now live in Ultimate Team, allowing players to upgrade a lower-rated item from their squad through five progressive levels. Getting the choice right matters because the evolution costs 150,000 coins to unlock, so a poor selection risks wasting a significant amount of in-game currency.

The evolution requires an LM or RM player with a maximum overall rating of 96, up to five positions, ten PlayStyles and four PlayStyle+ traits, with each of the five upgrade stages unlocked by playing one match in Squad Battles (minimum Semi-Pro difficulty) or in Rush, Rivals, Champions or Live Events. Suggested candidates include high-profile special items such as Messi TOTS, Salah End of an Era, Vinicius Jr. Knockout Royalty and Cristiano Ronaldo Time Warp, alongside several older promo cards from the FUTTIES Re-Release Batch 2, which can also be upgraded and used competitively in modes like Champs Finals.
