Train frontman Pat Monahan brought his 14-year-old son, Rock, on stage during a concert at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater, with the teenager playing guitar and singing on a cover of Journey's "Stone in Love". The moment was one of several family-focused touches during the night, as opening act Barenaked Ladies also had frontman Ed Robertson's son step in on bass, and it added a warm, personal note to a show marking the 25th anniversary of Train's album Drops of Jupiter.

The band performed a lengthy set including hits such as "50 Ways to Say Goodbye", "Hey Soul Sister", "Calling All Angels" and "Drops of Jupiter", with Monahan interacting closely with fans throughout, including taking selfies and throwing out T-shirts. He also spoke about attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, joking that his song "Marry Me" was not played there, and later gave T-shirts to a couple who got engaged in the crowd during that song.
