Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko! have released their new album *From Tokyo With Love*, marking a fresh chapter for a band that has become one of the most prominent acts driving J-pop's global expansion. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, members Suzuka, Mizyu, Kanon and Rin discussed how the record reflects the intense touring and international exposure they have experienced over the past two years, as they aim to channel that energy back out to fans worldwide.

The album's lead single, "Oi AG!", was first performed live in Los Angeles at the Zipangu festival in May, with the group describing the crowd's immediate connection to the new song as a memorable moment. Notably, *From Tokyo With Love* marks the first time the quartet has included solo tracks alongside group songs, a shift that has prompted them to reconsider each member's individual vocal identity rather than always performing as a unified ensemble. The band, formed 11 years ago with an emphasis on dance-led performance, said their focus has gradually broadened to encompass vocal style and stage expression as their discography has grown.
