Fox's Baywatch reboot has been picked up by Amazon Prime Video across a swathe of international territories, including Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, the Benelux countries, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Canada, Latin America and India. The deals, brokered by distributor Fremantle, follow Sky's earlier acquisition of the series for the UK and Ireland, giving the revived show broad coverage across Europe and beyond ahead of its launch.

The new series, which brings back the show 25 years after the original 11-season run ended, is due to premiere in January 2027 with 12 new episodes, and Prime Video will also carry the full Baywatch back catalogue in these markets. Stephen Amell leads the cast as Hobie Buchannon, joined by Jessica Belkin, Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Noah Beck and Brooks Nader, with David Chokachi and Livvy Dunne in recurring roles and Erika Eleniak guest-starring. Matt Nix serves as showrunner, with McG directing the premiere; Fox Entertainment Global retains domestic distribution rights while Fremantle handles international sales.
