Pokopia's new Bubbly Basin DLC introduces a substantial expansion of underwater content, giving players access to a vast new region filled with Pokémon that cannot be found anywhere else in the game. As befriending Pokémon is central to progressing in Pokopia, the update matters to players because it significantly broadens the roster of creatures available and adds a fresh gameplay layer built around underwater exploration and habitat-building.

So far, 29 Pokémon are confirmed exclusive to Bubbly Basin, including familiar water-type favourites such as Popplio, Mudkip, Totodile, Feraligatr and Primarina, with the list expected to grow as more are discovered. Two additional Pokémon, Manaphy and Feebas, were released alongside the DLC as part of a free update for all base-game players. The expansion pass is split into three parts, with Part 2 due in late 2026 and Part 3 in 2027, both promising further Pokémon plus new furniture and accessories; finding most creatures requires building new underwater habitats using previously unseen assets.
