The production behind HBO Max and Crave's hockey romance series "Heated Rivalry" has asked fans not to disrupt filming for its second season, which is under way this summer and fall in Toronto. Creator Jacob Tierney's production company Accent Aigu Entertainment, along with the show's official social media account, issued the appeal after pictures of stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie around Toronto began circulating widely online, suggesting fans were tracking their whereabouts. The plea underscores how quickly the show, based on the romance novels by Reid, has built a devoted and highly engaged fanbase since debuting.

The series follows the on-off relationship between two rival professional ice hockey players, Canadian Shane Hollander (Williams) and Russian Ilya Rozanov (Storrie), and first premiered in November 2025 before being renewed for a second season early in its run. Season two will adapt the novels "The Long Game" and "Role Model," with casting for new characters yet to be announced, and is targeting a spring 2027 release. Reid has also confirmed a seventh book in the series, "Unrivaled," continuing Shane and Ilya's story, due in June 2027.
