Grouper’s Liz Harris Reunites Her Shoegaze Band Helen
After an extended absence, shoegaze ensemble Helen is returning with new material. The group, which features Grouper's Liz Harris on vocals alongside bassist Scott Simmons and drummer Jed Bindeman, last released an album in 2015 and is now reuniting for what marks a significant comeback in the project's history.
The new album, titled 'Linda's Head,' will be released October 2 through Kranky Records and contains ten songs. Two tracks from the record are currently available to listeners, and Harris has arranged a six-date North American tour for September that will take her through Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Washington D.C., and Kingston, New York.
