Susanna Hoffs, co-founder of the Bangles, has announced her first album of original material in 14 years. The List, co-produced with CJ Camerieri, follows her 2021 covers record Bright Lights and a 2024 release of a shelved older album, and marks a return to new songwriting for the veteran musician.

The 12-track album features contributions from Rufus Wainwright, Edie Brickell, Dan Wilson, Greg Leisz and Spencer Zahn, among others, and Hoffs describes it as reflecting stories from her life shared among close friends. The lead single "Casablanca" is out now, inspired partly by a 1988 encounter with Bob Weir and a crowd of Deadheads. The List arrives on 18 September via Hoffs' own Baroque Folk label, accompanied by a US tour running from September into late September, including festival dates and a residency at New York's Carlyle.
