Arc Raiders has introduced the Phantom Targets Player Project, a new challenge-based event offering raiders extra rewards for tackling specific in-game tasks. Only the first of three planned parts is currently live, requiring players to upgrade cargo elevator antennas and hunt down various Arc enemy types, though some items needed for the tasks can be tricky to track down.

Part one consists of three steps: upgrading three antennas atop extraction elevators (found at Riven Tides, Spaceport or Dam Battlegrounds), dealing set amounts of damage to Arc enemies using pop triggers, wasp drivers and leaper pulse units, and destroying Arcs using fire damage, energy weapons and launcher ammunition. Completing these steps yields rewards including a Combat Mk. 3 augment, weapons such as the Aphelion battle rifle and Jupiter sniper rifle, raider tokens, and various equipment attachments.
