IGN has highlighted a gift idea for Lord of the Rings fans: officially licensed 3D wooden maps of Middle Earth made by a company called ZeWood, sold on Amazon in multiple sizes. The layered wood design creates a textured, sculptural piece of wall art suited to an office or living room, and ZeWood is noted as currently the only company producing such maps with official licensing.

Two versions are available. The pricier multicoloured map starts at $229.50 for a 10-inch by 8-inch size and features green trees and a darker Mordor, crafted from laser-cut, stained birch plywood. The cheaper option starts at $149.50 for a larger 15-inch by 8-inch rectangular size, lacking the added colour detailing but showing more of the land east of Mordor; ZeWood began in 2019 as a two-person Etsy shop before growing into a full workshop.
