Country singer Koe Wetzel is releasing "Jaded," a new duet with Ella Langley, out on Friday via Columbia Records, marking their second collaboration after 2023's "That's Why We Fight." The single is part of the deluxe edition of Wetzel's sixth studio album, The Night Champion, which he says represents a turning point away from the hard-partying image that has defined much of his decade-plus career, coinciding with him recently becoming a father.

The Night Champion, released in June with 11 core tracks plus seven deluxe additions, was produced by Gabe Simon, known for his work with Lana Del Rey and Noah Kahan. Wetzel describes the record as his most emotionally varied yet, featuring guest vocals from Sam Harris of X Ambassadors on opener "Sinner" and Maggie Antone on "When I Was," alongside the funky, disco-tinged "Jaded" with Langley, whose own single "Choosin' Texas" has been a chart success this summer.
