Kevin Bright-Produced October 7 Survivors Documentary ‘The Bridge’ Sets North American Release (EXCLUSIVE)
A documentary following ten survivors of the 7 October 2023 Hamas attacks is set for a North American release from 5 October, timed to coincide with the third anniversary of the attacks. "The Bridge" is produced by Kevin Bright ("Friends") and directed by Brad Allgood ("Landfill Harmonic"), and follows the survivors as they travel from Israel to Los Angeles to take part in the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, using music as a route to recovery from trauma.
The project originated when camp CEO David Fishof, who co-produced the film with Rock 'N' Heal, visited Israel after the attacks, which killed more than 1,200 people and saw a further 240 taken hostage. Moved by witnessing the brother of murdered drummer Yotam Haim play a drum solo at his funeral, Fishof arranged for a group of Israeli musicians to travel to Los Angeles to perform alongside mentors from bands including Guns N' Roses, Van Halen and Black Sabbath; songwriter Diane Warren also contributed to the film, which will screen in select North American venues alongside related events and commemorations.
