Lyndsy Fonseca, Robert Buckley Lead Hallmark’s Next ‘Holiday Touchdown’ Movie
Hallmark has unveiled its third instalment in the 'Holiday Touchdown' series, a romantic comedy titled 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story' featuring the Chicago Bears. Hallmark veterans Lyndsy Fonseca and Robert Buckley carry the film in leading roles, with supporting performances from Marsha Mason, Barbara Alyn Woods, and Khary Payton. The production filmed around Chicago, including at Soldier Field and the Bears' headquarters, and incorporates guest appearances from television personalities and local actors.
The project continues Hallmark's partnership with the NFL and Skydance Sports, following previous films centred on the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. The film integrates the Bears Care foundation's charitable work, with appearances from current players, head coach Ben Johnson, and former team stars including Mike Singletary and Dan Hampton. Directed by Dustin Rikert, the film will air as part of Hallmark's autumn holiday programming slate.
