YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Announces ‘Hell Or High Water’ Album, Shares ‘Now Or Never’ Single
Yngwie Malmsteen has announced a new studio album, "Hell Or High Water", due for release on 13 November via Music Theories Recordings/Artone Label Group. The Swedish guitarist, often ranked among the genre's most influential players, has also released the lead single "Now Or Never" ahead of the album's arrival, giving fans an early taste of the record.
The nine-track album continues the focused writing approach Malmsteen adopted for 2021's "Parabellum", with the guitarist spending eight months writing at home and narrowing around 80-90 songs down to the final selection. Standout tracks reportedly include "(On The) Battlefield" and "Eye For An Eye", alongside instrumentals "Antikythera" and "Beyond Zeta Reticuli", while the closing song "Father" is a tribute to his father, who died last year.
