Big Walk devs have heard your complaints about a pesky bug, and they are sprinting to fix it
Big Walk, a co-op indie game from House House (the studio behind Untitled Goose Game), has quickly become one of the best-reviewed titles of 2026, sitting at 94 on Metacritic. However, players have reported a bug affecting the game's proximity chat system, which makes teammates' voices too quiet even when standing close together, undermining the collaborative puzzle-solving experience the game is built around.
The developers acknowledged the issue publicly, explaining that while the game is designed to lower voice volume as players move further apart, some setups are experiencing much quieter audio than intended even at close range. House House said it is working to release a fix as soon as possible. The game is currently discounted to $14.99 on Steam.
